We recommend the pousada good value for money, attentive staff and great service.

The property is well located in heath of the old city of Salvador in a safe and well looked after area, the staff is helpful and very attentive, one of the owner was extremely helpful, she gave us suggestions on activities and places to visit as well as on restaurant and typical food.

Wonderful

I love how the owner made an effort in designing the bedroom, hallways and areas around the pousada. Very cozy. There's a 24 hr worker that recieves latecomers. Sufficient breakfast. Nice area not far from the center.I forgot to thank the owner the first time we booked and cancelled due to death in the family. She returned our money even though a non - cancellable booking. We booked the following year and enjoyed the stay! Thank u!

Great stay in a well located facility and friendly staff! Some improvements are needed though

Location is excellent, right in the middle of Santo Antonio's neighbourhood. Staff is awesome and super helpful to take any questions and requests. View of the ocean is spectacular, specially during the sunset. Breakfast is delicious and will get you full and ready for a day of sightseeing!

Cleanliness could be better. The bathroom had mould in the shower and quite a lot of ants. We got clean towels but had some "not so nice to see" stains.

Great staff, very good location, charming staff and excellent breakfast.

The location is very good, right up Pelourinho, in the nicer and quieter part of the district. We had a room with a view and a hamoc outside. The breakfast is really good and the staff was just charming and very helpful.

It felt as a cultural experience

I liked Barrio San Antonio and being able to stay at a safe place while visiting. The breakfast could be enhanced with scrambled eggs.

The beds were not great. The a/c is directed towards the bed and resulted in head ache.

The location is excellent. Close to restaurants and a short walk to the Pelourinho. The balcony on the main level has a wonderful view of the harbor. Some rooms have this view too. The breakfast is extraordinary. Delicious!

A melhor pousada de Salvador

Beija Flor is located in my favorite neighbourhood of Salvador. Close enough to touristy Pelourinho, but far enough to get away from the crouds. It's a rather artsy neighbourhood with lots of galeries and interesting restaurants. Welcome was very warm and friendly. Felt right at home. The room was beautifully decorated as the whole pousada was. Breakfast was perfect with a view over the port and some relaxing ambient music. I was deeply impressed by the owners good taste in music <3. The owner, her mother and the employees were incredibly friendly. It was a nice surprise that I was asked by check-out if everything has been ok. The owners are open to critique and keen on giving the visitor the best possible experience. I was sad to leave after just one day, because I felt like home. Muito obrigada !

Lovely hosts, great location, authentic vibe.

Such lovely attention to detail. The breakfast was a good assortment and selection for table made it more pleasant. Paintings in the rooms reflect the Pelourino area and add to the ambiance. Great location.

The air con was a bit weak, could be better. The room was dark as the shutters needed to be closed because of the heat. Not sure if a skylight would work with a sun block? Of course it depends on time of year but Salvador is usually warm.

Lovely Pousada- highly recommend

Highly recommend this Pousada! The owner was incredibly friendly and helpful, he gave me several recommendations and was very attentive. The breakfast is great and changes each day and accommodates dietary requirements. The rooms themselves are fairly basic but minimalist and clean and the property is in a great location, close to some good bars and restaurants. The owner did mention that he intends to make some changes having taken over the property recently

Nothing! I have no complaints about staying here - maybe just a note about being careful as a solo female traveller but I didn’t have any negative experiences.

Márcia and her team at the Pousada are excellent hosts. Really kind, friendly and helpful with everything. The breakfast served by Márcia is really good and with different options every day. Her coffee is also excellent. The room had a very nice terrace overlooking the sea and the port. The air-conditioning and fridge also worked very nicely. The Pousada is in an excellent location. Lots of places to eat nearby and in walking distance to the historic part of town. An extra were the free Jazz concerts at the square near by.

To say something the bathroom could use a little update but it wasn't bad for such a building in the old part of town.

This place is simply amazing. The view during the breakfast is breathtaking. The Pousada staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The neighborhood is pretty safe as for Salvador. I felt home.

Great value spot with beautiful views and great proximity to Pelorinho

Nice pousada in a great location. Our room had a balcony with beautiful views of the port. The room was simply decorated, but it met all our needs. The breakfast was excellent and with a view as well! It was an easy 10-minute walk to the center of Pelorinho, and we loved staying somewhere a little more quiet. The staff also recommended a great restaurant close-by called Poró . This pousada is a great value spot, and we'd love to stay here again.

When we visited, there wasn't a sign outside with the name of the Pousada, so we almost missed it. Otherwise, it was a great stay!

Great Pousada !

Very nice spacious room for our family of 4, spotless clean, big terrasse with amazing view. Great breakfast with lots of homemade specialities, served on a terrasse with view and hummingbirds (beija flor)! Several nice bars & restaurants just nearby on same street, we also had a wonderful dinner at the Pousada. The center Pelourinho is just a few minutes away by walk. The host was very kind, talking perfect Italian, and helped us booking nice tours: muito brigado Márcia, hope to come again soon!
